Norah Shaw Photographs

During the late 1920’s and early 1930’s my mother Norah Ayland followed the family ships around the West Country and South Wales.     Equipped with the most basic of cameras she photographed local coasting sailing vessels.

8.  Mary B. Mitchell built 1892 by Paul Rogers, Carrickfergus. lost 1944

9.  Haldon built Hawke Bros, Plymouth 1883

10. Gaelic built 1898 William Thomas and Sons Amlwch.   lost, 1952 Co.Donegal
